Human Rights Watch has released a damning report exposing systematic abuse in the U.S. immigration detention center at Fort Bliss, Texas. The investigation documents overcrowding, lack of medical care, and physical and psychological violence against detainees, many of whom are migrants fleeing violence and persecution.

The report calls for immediate accountability: the U.S. government must halt the use of the facility, provide reparations to victims, and conduct independent investigations into the alleged abuses.
