Fidan highlighted the urgent need for accountability, noting that the Taliban’s crackdown on women, journalists, and opposition figures has escalated into a humanitarian crisis. He called for concrete actions—sanctions, targeted aid, and a robust UN investigative mandate—to hold perpetrators responsible.

By framing the issue as a moral imperative, Turkey seeks to realign international policy with principles of truth, justice, and reparations for Afghan victims.
